FREE VOIP NETWORK TEST

Test Your Internet for Business Phone Systems

Not every fast Internet connection is good for VoIP. Measure download speed, upload speed, latency and jitter to see whether your network is ready for clear, reliable business calls.

LIVE CONNECTION TEST

Measure Your Internet Quality

Run the test while connected to the network you use for your business phones. For the most accurate result, close large downloads, cloud backups and streaming applications first.

Connection diagnostic

Ready to test your connection

The test will measure performance between this browser and Cloudflare’s network. It may use a significant amount of data on very fast connections.

Testing is performed using Cloudflare network infrastructure. Cloudflare may receive completed measurement data for aggregated Internet-quality analysis.

MORE THAN A SPEED TEST

Measure What Matters for Business Calls

Internet speed is only one part of call quality. VoIP also depends on the consistency and responsiveness of your connection.

Use our guide to understand what latency, jitter, packet loss and QoS results mean for business calls.

Download & Upload

Measure how quickly your connection receives and sends data. Upload performance is especially important when several employees are using business phones at the same time.

Latency & Jitter

Latency measures delay. Jitter measures how much that delay changes from moment to moment. Excessive values can contribute to delayed, robotic or choppy audio. Learn What is a good jitter score for VoIP? Learn What is acceptable latency for VoIP?

Connection Consistency

A fast connection can still perform poorly when the network is busy. Loaded latency helps show how responsive the connection remains under demand.

How to Get a More Accurate Result

Test the correct network

Use the same office Internet connection and network your business phones normally use.

Use a wired connection when possible

Wi-Fi interference can affect the result. A wired computer provides a clearer picture of the Internet connection itself.

Pause heavy Internet activity

Temporarily pause cloud backups, large downloads, video streaming and software updates.

Test more than once

Run the test at different times of day. Intermittent ISP congestion may not appear in a single test.

Important: This browser-based test is a useful screening tool, but it does not replace a complete network assessment or continuous VoIP monitoring. Learn how continuity planning goes beyond connection quality.
